No News is Good News

No news is good news. I dont even know what to say on here. He is doing so well. He is even learning the letter A and can recognize it and say it, he can also count to two over and over, so he is focusing on stuff other than his refluxing, which is so wonderful! He has been going pee pee and poo poo on the potty. He even has a poo poo dance. He is hanging in there, he is doing great, the only hard time he has had in a while was Sabins birthday party (4/18/05). He was playing hard which caused him to retch and gag alot in front of everyone we know. they were so excited to see how wonderful he was doing. So, I felt bad for him and them when he started doubling over and saying owie and then the gagging started…. We dont see that very often anymore and I had just gone telling everyone how wonderful he is doing. I can handle a little retching though after the last few years! Praise God!!

We’re settled in our new home

Hi Everyone!

We are finally moved and settled in our new home. I tried to take a pic of the boys in their new tree out front but my camera is full so as soon as I unload I will get a pic up here. We are all relaxing and enjoying the no stress of life of not selling your home! LOL. All the boys are doing very well, school time is coming to an end, and we are ready to party this summer, wew hew! Bring it on!

We tried a new church right by our house and love it so far so that has been a blessing, the kids really like it and so do we.

Eli is doing really great! Sabin is growing like a weed and got a new bike. Andrew is zooming along in school work and we got him a new bike too. Sabin and Andrew both had birthdays so they are a year older .

I will update with a pic as soon as I get them all out and the camera working at the same time.

Eli is still doing very well. He had one episode of retching and gagging again last night after eating apple but that is the only one recently. Apples are not his friend. Today is Sabins birthday, hopefully I can post a pic later after his party. We are going to the park so it should be fun. He has been so excited all day and got out of homeschooling because of it. Eli has been potty training himself all of a sudden I think so that has been exciting, he says PeePee and runs to the bathroom and has been wearing undies at home

Houston we have popcorn!

Houston, we have popcorn!

Big day at our house, Eli is eating popcorn again for the first time since surgery, Yea, for Eli!!!!!! Just thought I would share. Our worst fear was that he wouldnt be able to eat popcorn or pizza and he is eating both just fine….

Just a little update on the E. He is still doing great. He has had pizza twice, successfully!! We took him to chuckie cheese last week because Andrew, his big brother, got student of the month again at school and Eli ate some breadsticks, yes, breadsticks! (Remember the dreaded breadstick incident?). He had Tacos last night for dinner, crunchy tacos, ate it fine and loved every minute of it! He is learning how to get it past the wrap and it is soo wonderful to watch him eat, he just says “mmm, good” over and over with all his bites. Oh, he has had lots of pasta too. Pretty much everything but steak, and his favorite.. popcorn. We even tried lettuce successfully! The kid is eating, and it is staying where it belongs! He hasnt been sick in 7 weeks, No black circles under the eyes, no red rimmed eyes, no congestion at night and after meals, He is sleeping in his bed with just a little slope wonderfully. (sloped just for my comfort). He is out and about in the world and loving life so much. He acts like he is at Disneyland just going to Krispy Kreme. He is practically healthy. So, we are soo happy and so is he! Just wanted to let you guys know that.

Oh, and I have steak defrosted for dinner…. And, I plan on getting popcorn at the grocery store, he hasnt had any since the day before his surgery. He loves it and has been asking for it.Addition this evening: Steak was a hit! Went well! Phew!
