Eli’s Roller Coaster

Eli is so confusing. He spent the morning vomiting. Dr says he shouldnt be able to vomit and is concerned. So, he is scheduled to have an upper Gi done again on monday. So, I will update again after that. He is fine now though, so please dont think he is running around miserable all the time. He just couldnt hold anything down this morning. He should NOT be able to vomit though. So, keep him in your prayers but know that he is still feeling really great considering his circumstances.

Hello All,
Just checking in, we are trying to relax before VBS next week. We are all happy and hot, ugh. Eli feels fine, I canceled his upper GI. Dont know what it was, but prayers must have stopped it.

Eli is Excited!

We are off to the beach again. I only gave Eli his prilosec for a few days and then stopped not being sure of the problem and he has been doing really well. So, with prayers following him he is running around just fine. I am thinking of canceling his upper GI on the 22nd. Why put him through it if he is feeling fine? I will hopefully have a fun pic when I get back. So, take care!

Update from the Doc

Dr. wants to do an upper GI and put him back on an acid reducer to prevent damage for now. The upper GI will make sure nothing is stuck in the wrap. Which, at this point, something stuck in the wrap would be a good thing. We could just remove it and move on.

 Eli is running around happy and not knowing. He has 3 cousins and his brothers here to keep him busy but he is back to sucking down liquids and not eating. He sure loved the fireworks yesterday!

Eli is Refluxing Again

We have been trying to deny it but its there. He is refluxing, I hope its a flu of some kind but its not, you all know what it looks like. Or it could be a problem with the fundo or hopefully he has a hotdog stuck like Noah. I will have to call tomorrow, big sad faces over here. I will try to keep positive but at the moment I am just accepting this.
