Eli’s Huge Birthday Blast!

Eli is 6!! Yay!! He had a very big party :)  We rented a huge bounce house and had friends and a lot of family here! He was so excited and a little overwelmed. When it was over he asked if he could have 2 parties. He also had his first sleepover :)

Anyhow, we love Eli and we are thankful for each person who came to help us celebrate our special E

The HUGE waterslide!

Grabbing candy after the "Piana" (that is what Eli calls it)

Birthday Boy!

Some more pics I've been meaning to put up!

Doesn't Andrew look like a future Calvin Klein model? LOL

My hottie and my sweetie :)

Andrew is a mother hen :)

Maddy LOVES to swing!

Some pics of Madelynn after E's party, she slept through it pretty much!

New Camera, haircuts, and our first week of school is finished!

Well, the boys got their haircuts :)

We started and finished a great first week of school! The boys even did their schoolwork in the evenings because it's "fun"… nerds! I know it won't last forever so hey I have to enjoy this season of life!

And this is a little of what Madelynn does while they are doing school (when she is not terrorizing us!).

Let's see… and Abram taught me how to do close ups while we went out to eat tonight with Madelynn and Eli (Sabin and Andrew are at Magic Mountain with some homeschooling friends!).

I LOVE this camera!!!!

First Day of School!

Yep! We had our first day of school today. We started WinterPromise Sea and Sky (among a lot of other stuff). We loved it! It went really well and the boys are really excited about it. The books chosen for this program are very fitting for my 4th and 6th grader :)  Eli listened in too and then did his A Beka work. I purchased the Young Learner Guide Sea and Sky books so he has some to listen to on his level and the older boys even love them! Overall, I think this is going to be a great year!

Our only big problem is Maddy decided this was the morning to start crawling FAST! She has been crawling slowly but today she is really on the move so she was all over the place and wanting to touch all the papers and books. I don't know what I'm going to do with that girl. I ended up using the pack in play as a wall to prevent her from falling down the stairs. Yes, I will be buying a baby gate ASAP!

Also, a new homeschool group has opened up in our town and we have so many fun activites planned! Our schedule IS FULL!!!! YIKES! We start Spanish class, Art class, Calvary Kids Club soon. And oh ya, the boys have joined Boy Scouts, too Surprised

… and so it begins Laughing
